I created an email account in cPanel, how do I import it into Outlook?
First, create a new account in Outlook:
- On the Tools menu, click Email Accounts.
- Select Add a new e-mail account, click Next.
- Select POP3, click Next...
- Fill in these settings:
Username: name@your-domain.com (the full email)
Password: ****
Incoming mail sever: mail.your-domain.com
Outgoing mail sever: mail.your-domain.com
Second, change the outgoing server settings:
- Click More Settings...
- Click the Outgoing Server tab.
- Check the option My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
- Select Use same setting as my incoming mail server.
Third, change the outgoing port number:
- Click the Advanced tab.
- In the Outgoing Server (SMTP) field, put 26 instead of 25.
